If you are considering upgrading your current heating system you should consider something more energy efficient. Installing an air source heat pump will in most cases pay for the initial costs. It does this Through savings & government incentives. (The boiler upgrade scheme) then an Installing an Air source heat pump could be right for you.
We provide a full heat loss calculation that will show the estimated running costs of the system proposed. we ensure a full breakdown and costs are provided. Any upgrades that may be required to your existing heating system are brought to light. This key information will help you to make a decision if an air source heat pump system is right for your budget & property.
Once you accept your quotation The scheme is designed to minimise the amount of work property owners need to do. It is ‘installer-led’, which means The Energy smart group will:
- We will make a BUS application on your behalf
- liaise with Ofgem on most matters related to the scheme
- tell Ofgem when we’ve installed your heating system
- claim the money from Ofgem at the end of the project
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme T&C’s
There are some terms and conditions your property must meet to obtain the grant.
The scheme is open to domestic and small non-domestic properties in England and Wales.
New build properties are not eligible for the scheme, with the exception of certain ‘self-builds’.
You must have an EPC which :-
- was issued within the last 10 years
