Introducing The Tesla Powerwall 3
The Tesla Powerwall is a small home battery that stores energy from solar panels or the electricity grid. You can use this energy to run your home’s devices and appliances day and night, even during power cuts or when you want to be off-grid. With different power modes, you can make the most of your stored energy to protect against outages, save on electricity bills, and more.
Much easier DNO Acceptance
For systems with inverter ratings above 3.68 kW, a DNO (Distribution Network Operator) application (typically G99) is needed before installation. The integrated hybrid inverter in the Powerwall 3 simplifies this process by combining solar and battery inverters, reducing potential output and increasing the likelihood of DNO approval.
Output Options to Suit Grids Demands A key feature of the Tesla Powerwall 3 is its integrated solar inverter, which supports continuous AC output from 3.68 kW to 11.04 kW. This flexibility allows you to tailor the system to your specific energy requirements.
Affordable and Flexible Pricing
Standalone Installation: The Powerwall 3 is competitively priced at 8495, fully installed.
With Solar PV System: Reduce costs further to around £7,800 when installed alongside a solar PV system, eliminating the need for a separate inverter.
Advanced solar Inverter
The Powerwall 3 includes three MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) which allows you to have more stings or solar arrays The third MPPT string offers notable advantages:
Maximized Roof Space Usage: Ideal for homes with multiple roof orientations, such as south, east, and west, allowing for efficient energy capture without additional inverters.
Improved Shade Management: Isolate shaded panels on their own MPPT, ensuring that shaded sections do not impact the performance of unshaded panels, thus enhancing overall system efficiency.

Comparing Powerwall 3 to Powerwall 2
Powerwall 2: Available at approximately £7,500 when installed without solar PV.
Powerwall 3: A slight increase to £8,495, but with added benefits, especially when integrated with a PV system, reducing overall installation expenses and inverter requirements.
Storm Watch
Storm Watch is a feature that Tesla created to predict power cuts. It monitors local weather stations, and if it sees a storm on the horizon will start to charge up. In the event of a power cut that’s caused by a storm, Powerwall 3 should be fully charged to maximise the amount of time that you can run the house off-grid.
Monitor energy on the custom app
With the Tesla Powerwall 3 you can monitor your usage and set your battery up for optimum efficiency with the custom app. We’ll even help you set it up when we’ve finished the install.
