Electrical testing in Sheffield

Why bother with electrical testing?

Electrical safety should be a must for anybody. Whether you’re a homeowner or a business owner, the risk is just as significant.

It is paramount that electrical systems get some maintenance. It’s critical to safeguard households, tenants, members of staff and premises. One of the main reason for carrying out an electrical condition report is to determine the condition of your electrics.

The testing needs doing to ensure your compliance with current electrical wiring regulations. Identifying failures or defects and making appropriate recommendations via an Inspection report.

Take ownership of your electrical testing.

By having a condition report carried out, you identify any defects in your electrical system. If you deal with any issues immediately, the problems do not persist. in addition, the  EICR gives us a chance to check the level of deterioration of the installation, but it will also ensure your meeting the safety legislation.

Equally important, if regular inspection and testing just don’t get done – those responsible may be prosecuted under health and safety law. The lives of workforce/tenants could be at unnecessary risk, and insurances can void.

Regular inspection and testing to take place so that the installation can be maintained in a good and safe condition. It is a requirement by law.

What Happens After The Inspection?

After we carry out the inspection, we will produce an EICR. It will state if the electrical installation is Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.

The decision will be based on the current electrical regulations BS7671:2018. We will record all faults and make you aware of the condition as we go along.

We will then provide a list of Observations and Recommendations on how to rectify the issues if you have any. At this point, we would typically provide a no obligation quotation for the repair work to be carried out.
